VAT online deadline

Changes are due to come into force in April 2010 for all new business and existing businesses with a turnover in excess of £100,000.

From April 2010 these business will no longer be able to file paper returns. Online filing is the only option.

One advantage of this new filing method is that payment does not need to be made until 12 days after the normal return end date.
